Dear Clients and Friends,
 
What a year this is turning out to be for our Intercontinental Team! Completing forty years in business while successfully serving clients throughout the pandemic-related disruptions are two significant reasons for celebration. We have been strategically returning to our regular office spaces over the summer, and thank all of you for your patience as we sought to serve you virtually, rather than in person, these past seventeen months. Not being able to enjoy your company in our office, your home or office, or a favorite restaurant has been challenging – but we’re still here and are glad you are, too. We relish our interactions with you – whether that is a phone call, a video chat, or our more traditional in-person-meetings model.
 
Warmth of service delivery was uppermost in the minds of Isidoro Korngold and John Kauth when they founded our firm in 1981. Our approach to establishing and sustaining client relationships has served us well over the years, and we will continue this tradition as the next forty years unfold.
 
Treating one another within the firm like family is another defining characteristic, one that we treasure. The average tenure for Intercontinental’s employees is well over ten years, with a growing number having been with us twenty years and longer. We now have three instances of two generations of the same family serving our clients. It is our privilege to serve multiple generations of your families, and we hope that our long-tenured and multi-generational staff resonate with you.
 
Interacting with you as you seek to realize the goals you have for yourselves, your children and your grandchildren is something we never take for granted. Your goals and ours are perfectly aligned. Rather than serving shareholders first, as larger publicly-traded investment firms tend to do, we serve you, our clients, first. We thrive when you thrive.
